Welcome to the DRMC

This is the home page of the Dandenong Ranges Music Council Incorporated, an arts organisation located in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, east of Melbourne. The DRMC has been funding, facilitating and teaching community music for over thirty years. The Dandenong Ranges Music Council Inc. is assisted by the Yarra Ranges Council.

Community music is for everyone, beginner to professional. It enriches our lives and gives us opportunities locally to sing, play, perform, jam, create and listen.

What's happening in 2013?

The DRMC wants to hear from musicians, composers, community groups, schools and individuals about new music ideas and projects for 2013.  Does the community need a composers' collective, a hurey gurdey orchestra or even a kerosene tin percussion group?  Perhaps there are hidden bassoons, oboes and cor anglais players just waiting for an opportunity.  Tell us at drmc.org.au or phone: Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays 9754 6566
