The Sweet Sassafras Community Choir was originally established under the auspices of the DRMC and is now an independent incorporated organisation.

Rehearsals are every Monday evening 7:30pm - 9:30pm (excepting public holidays and Code Red - catastrophic weather conditions) at Sassafras Primary School,  Mt Dandenong Tourist Rd  Sassafras.
